Walter Parlange earned a business degree from undergraduate university and graduated summa cum laude. Afterward, he attended and graduated from LSU law school. After graduation from LSU, he started the practice of law in New Orleans, Louisiana and later entered the corporate world where he spent most of his career. While working in the corporate environment, he was instrumental in planning, organizing and the divestment of properties worth over $75,000,000. In addition, he conceptualized, prepared and completed training materials for other young professionals on Texas property law, oil and gas, Texas regulation and other matters.
Walter has been a licensed attorney for over 35 years and is licensed in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Washington D. C. During his time in the corporate world and the time of practicing law, Walter’s experience has included research, litigation, probate, real estate, contracts, oil and gas as well as familiarity with other areas of the law. He has broad experience in negotiating, analyzing, interpreting, reviewing and preparing various legal instruments. After leaving the corporate world, Walter has recently entered into the practice of law with Charioty James to form a new firm law firm of James & Parlange Law PLLC. Walter has resided in the same house in Kingwood area for over 25 years.
